Feelin' lucky?
Well, recently Airbase released his follow-up to the ISOS’d Denial, vocalized by Floria Ambra…And well, it has received some interesting feedback from people ’round the web…But Interfere is not ready to go away just yet! Norwegian hot-shot Kimito Lopez has offered up a progressive take, and has submitted a remix that should be sure to please everyone…Because, he did include a dub for you vocal-shy jockies out there! Also, apparently he loves Ibiza. I suppose it was pertinent enough to point out in the form of a remix!

Fresh out of the doors of the Intuition camp, more specifically from the Intuition Deep sublabel, this one is a single track from Richard and Moore, who appear to actually be none other than Cliff Coenraad and Thomas Hagenbeek. These two have been doing various remixes together, and put out the track Filthy Ripper last year on Marco V’s In Charge imprint. Pretty much all I’ve got to say! Read on for samples and the review.

Instead of offering up an elaborate introduction, I’ll just say that Maarten rocks. I found this excerpt online (Don’t remember where) that sums up Maarten quite nicely, so here it is:
“This young and talented dutch producer lands on Stellar Sounds for their 4th release, providing a tasty trance duo just in time for WMC. Maarten’s been releasing original productions and remixes since 2006, and his sound is hard to describe, often ranging from heavily melodic trance (Escape on Enhanced Progressive) to some heavier tech-trance (Black Mamba remix on Octavius).
These latest tracks take a bit from both camps, some definite hand raising melodies abound in ‘Caramel Conclusions’, while ‘Lightning Buzzyear’ twists the sound a bit to amp up the energy and give it a little more edge.”

This latest release from the Intuition camp sees a stir of life from the somewhat dormant Deep sublabel. This one is the debut of Dutch duo MuseArtic, with their track entitled At Sunrise. On remix duty, the auspicious Jonas Steur, the likes of which we have not seen on an Intuition release for quite awhile! Dive in, why don’t you?

The latest Intuition release we covered was Cesar Lugo’s epic two piece on Stellar Sounds. This little gem arrived in the mail today, and well, I simply couldn’t stay away. It’s been some time since I’ve heard any of Mike’s productions, but the man is a legend, so I decided I had to do it justice.
This is a heavy release, with 5 different mixes, each very similar to the others. We’re treated to a Vocal and Dub from Mike, both of which are smooth trancers, one with vocals, one with less. On remix duties is Orjan Nilsen, providing his own Vocal and Dub mixes and tossing in a radio edit for good measure.

I wish I knew how this release managed to slip by me, but somehow it’s been sitting on my desk since the fall of ‘08. I ought to be punished for that. Orjan, or to some, Orjan Nilsen, DJ Governor, pops out his latest effort on the Intuition Recordings label, and what a stormer these are!
Orjan’s had a string of hits, most prominently ‘La Guitarra’, which was whored by just about every DJ the world has ever seen, and I’m also guilty as charged. He has this ability to make memorable music, music you simply have to put on repeat, day after day. This release takes the ‘in-your-face-ness’ of ‘La Guitarra’ and tones it down to create a release that is more suitable for a peak party hour.

Matan Zohar is no stranger to the trance & house scene. Having burst onto the scene as Mat Zo in 2006, he’s had releases on AVA Recordings, Anjunabeats, Smuth and countless others. His sound has always been unique and captivating, with his ‘Foot and Mouth EP’ being my all time favorite of his.
Jump to the present day and Matan has unveiled his latest productions, ‘Our Self’ and ‘Afraid to Let Go’ under a new guise, Matan Zohar (which is coincidentally the bloke’s full name). Staying true to his mantra, ‘Good songs don’t rhyme’, this release packs loads of deep progressive trance, and his signature danceable edge. His skill lies in his ability to smoothlessly integrate sounds, often times spanning many different styles and cultures.
