I found hello via this Sony ad campaign, which drops in at about 1:33…With such a bitchin’ lead, I had to find out more! It seems Dadahack is comprised of two individuals with quite a storied background, ranging from The Human League and New Order, to U2 and Gwen Stefani. At any rate, hello is actually a collaboration between Dadahack, who provide the track, Hannah Robinson, who provides the vocals on hello dust, and Speak And Spell, who is the frontman and the face for the group (Not really, he just serves the snacks). There’s also a remix EP, but I haven’t checked that out yet. Dive in!

FREE 16 TRACK ALBUM!
This free album landed in my inbox a few weeks ago, and after giving it a few listens, I couldn’t help but find my inner dancing transcending my inner self and manifesting itself in my legs and head. It’s definitely on the simple side of house music, but what it might lack in complexity it makes up for in the fun department.
The tracks are funky, deep and bouncy. They remind me old school house music, when times were simpler and dancing was infectious. Check out some samples after the jump and be sure to grab yourself the entire album in 320kbps!

This one is a bit of an ‘indie’ release, Hacienda by the Dirty Rhythm Syndicate. These guys hail from the UK, and do DJ sets as well as live acts, and, wayyyyy back when, asked me to do a review for this release. I almost forgot about publishing it…Well, I guess I did forget. Heh…Anyways, it is out, as of December, at (most of) your standard online download retailers, so read on if I have piqued your curiosity!
