It’s nice to be taken back to warmer months and this track, which features Ibiza’s most popular beach, does just that on a Canadian mid November afternoon. Gabe has been around the techno scene for what some might consider an eternity, commencing his DJ career in 1987 (I was 5 years old!) and more recently, his production career in 2002 with former musical partner Lance Blaise.
This release, which was released in late September on Nervous Records, the infamous Weiss owned NYC label imprint. Adding to Gabe’s original mix are mixes by Jon Rundell, Steve Mulder, and Jan van Lier.

Ville’s latest lands on Subtraxx (the very label of which he is head of A&R) and adds to its long list of illustrious, nearly entirely, Finnish producers. With names like Miika Kuisma, Sied van Riel, Allende, Arksun and others, Ville adds his second release to this impressive roster. With his first release in 2008 he’s been a busy producer and remixer with well over 10 tracks released in the past year. His facebook/twitter status updates also tell of a rather engrossed musical genius…
Sun Will Follow is a testament to the effect that warm summer days have on people’s moods, and this Balearic progressive number is deep and lush from top to bottom, start to finish. Along with the Original Mix is a remix by Marko Kantola of White Stars fame (of which I consider to have the top progressive trance release of the year with their Triangle Wave EP).
