Pole Folder makes his debut on Frisky Records on April 15th with ‘Destinations’; An 80 minute journey through progressive house which takes shape with every track that Pole unveils. As a title for this CD, Destinations works on a number of levels. The most obvious connection being that Destinations is the name of Pole Folder’s own radio show which airs only on friskyRadio every second Thursday of each month. The title also reflects how much Pole Folder has experienced as both a DJ and electronic music fan in many destinations around the world.

The last time we heard Pole Folder on CD, it was in the role of a producer. His debut artist album Zero Gold was released in 2005 on John Digweed’s Bedrock label and it garnered acclaim with journalists and fans alike. Fast forward almost three years later and Destinations provides a vehicle for Pole Folder to showcase his skills as DJ for the first time ever on CD.

Crafted much like his radio show of the same name, Destinations offers a true and up to the minute representation of the global progressive house scene. Given complete artist control over the project, Pole Folder pairs his own “Eastern Lagoon” with tracks from the likes of Leon Bolier, Kevin Yost, Andy Moor & Michael Wilson, Henry Cullen, Deep Mariano, DJ Yellow & Astrid Suryante, Spektre and Tiger Stripes, among others.
