This release was sitting in my mailbox for quite a long time, and I just couldn’t give enough time it deserved to review this one but the time has come I guess. French duo Ferry Tayle & Static Blue had quite a 2009 with their huge L’Acrobat (Reviewed Here) release doing the business across the summer months. And now, Kicking off 2010 in quite emphatic style, the duo land with the long awaited follow up, ‘Trapeze’ . Pack includes Original Mix, Daniel Kandi’s Emotional Remix, Arty Remix and a special Arty ‘Digitally Enhanced’ Intro Mix. Daniel Kandi’s remix is being hammered all over the globe by all jocks not to forget the splendid original mix.

Oliver Picart aka Oliver P has come a long way since his colab project ‘Fast Distance’ with Franz Hlusek aka Arpegia created mayhem everywhere around the globe. Their furiously epic journey into trance came to a sad end when they decided to part their ways. Now, Oliver P presents his maiden solo record on Enhanced titled as ‘Lost Without You’, with a remix from another French duo – Karybde & Scylla. Before this he has also remixed Redstar’s latest banger – ‘Evolution’, in case you’ve heard it. Also included the original mix of ‘Philadelphia’. Time to check out some hot ch00ns ATM…!!

After the very much successful ‘Les Fleurs’ EP, Steven Baan aka Estiva has gained immense respect in trance circuit. As he has become a resident-like @ Enhanced and a compilation mixed by him and Temple One coming out this month (Enhanced sessions Vol.1), this EP further solidifies his position as the remarkable artist of this year.
This is a 4-track pack, with the title track ‘I Feel Fine’ presented in with-piano and without-piano versions. I love Estiva’s approach of progressive trance to the core. So, let’s have a detailed look at what he has to offer us.

As with Sergey Shemet, Temple One first crossed my path with Moonlight Madness…Of course I have heard of Temple One, but I haven’t really given him a shot, until now! This is String Theory, which should promise to be a quality bit of trance, and not strung out in the least! On remix duty is none other than Mark Sixma, under his M6 alias. He should inject a little drive, for sure! Read on.

Fun fact, this is the first review I’ve ever handwritten (Then of course I put it on the computer)! Random, but oh so true. Anyways:
Michael Angelo has found his way onto our little operation here, with an ecletic blend of lush vibes backed by in-your-face riffs. This is his first solo run I’ve heard; Disconnected (on Enhanced Progressive of course!) offers up the vocals of one Jenry R. We get the original, a remix by Myon and Shane 54, dubs for each one, and an edit of the M&S54 Remix. Ready? Go!

Enhanced Recordings; these guys are starting to really take off! Their last few releases have been the whipping boys of the roster of top DJs, from Estiva’s Les Fleurs, to Sindre Eide’s Essentia. This one may prove to be no exception; Orjan Nilsen’s take on Will Holland’s Tears In The Rain, the original of which was released in December of 2008. We have a tendency to enjoy Orjan’s style ’round these parts, so let us see if that trend will continue! Read on.
