I don’t normally highlight single tracks, but this track from a 3 track EP, stood out so much that I had to give credit where credit is due. This track melts what I consider to be the best elements of Armin van Buuren, John Askew and John O’Callaghan’s sound to create a unique, driving and uplifting trance tune that is sure to raise the hair on your neck.
I’d love to say more, but I’ll let you all be the judge, for a high quality sample, hit up the read more link! If you’re looking for more info on Running Man I wish thee good luck. If you’ve got some dirt, hit us up in the comments, we’re dying to know more!

Evgeny Bardyuzha is a regular feature at Neuroscience. His tracks regularly gain the support of DJs such as Markus Schulz, Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold and Eddie Halliwell, thanks to his distinct and unique production style. Back in October of 2009, Evgeny released his debut artist album, ‘Point of No Return’, which we reviewed with critical appraise. Now, in 2010, Neuroscience brings you ‘Hylea‘, a track that was featured on his album, a track which I pointed out as a standard out production.
‘Hylea‘ is one of the strongest tracks from the album and it was an obvious choice for a full release with remixes. After teaming up with Russian website PromoDJ.ru, Neuroscience launched a remix contest, which well and truly delivered on the goods. It was hard work, but they managed to narrow it down to six winners including, Cramp, Vullcan, Rave CHannel, Broning, Deep Sound and Eryo. Not surprisingly, there are only 2 new names in that list! In addition, Evgeny has reworked the original album mix in to a DJ friendly club mix.

Stone & Young are one half Dan Stone and one half Phil Young. Working closely together the duo have created a sound that is so tightly coupled you would certainly have a hard time telling the unique elements apart from one another!
This latest from the very talented Neuroscience roster features a smooth original mix and three remixes to round things out. On remix duties we have Temple One, Rozza and The Flyers & Mike Sonar. Read on past the jump for my take on the 4 tracks, some high quality samples and for your chance to vote for your favorite!

The Flyers are a relatively new trio of producers hailing from Russia and Macedonia, and Mike Sonar is a young solo producer hailing from Poland. The 4 combined aim to create trance that evokes memories and thoughts of “nature, the sun and the moon, night ambience and the heights of heaven.” Wow, deep!
Though these two tracks aren’t heavenly in essence, they sure are angelic at times. ‘Frozen’ is a solid trancer that would fit well jacked up 8% in a Paul van Dyk set and ‘Despero’ is a happy little tale that really pushes the melodic and euphoric levels with adding an electro/tech infused groove.

The first of a monthly series, I’ll be highlighting tracks that I discovered during the month and I feel need some attention. These tracks will showcase multiple genres, artists and labels….but they all share one thing in common: Class.
This month’s feature includes songs from storied producers like DJ Shah, Sean Tyas, Marcel Woods, Andain and others. Though I appreciate the productions put out by this bunch, it’s always nice to spice things up with a little variety. With this in mind, I’ll be covering a few tracks from up and coming producers like Dave Schiemann, MnzX2, Joran, Grube & Hovsepian and others!
Read on past the break for the lowdown on what January 2009 brought us, and I’ve even included samples for each track. Your turn to let me know what you think of my picks!

His follow up to Dark Room, the ‘Whiplash / Stranded’ EP was released in mid August, and well, I’ve been busy, so here’s my un-timely review.
Receiving support from a wide range of DJ’s including Tiesto, Armin (@ Amnesia), Above & Beyond (TATW Tune of the week), Godskitchen residents Mark Eteson & Paul Thomas and many more, this EP has managed to leave a trail of destroyed clubbers around the globe. ‘Whiplash’ is pure genius, we’re treated a more peak time type track that I would envision going down well on a sunset cruise or a crowded beach bar. On the B side, featuring ‘Stranded’, he proves that progressive house can pull you by the heart and force you to smile as it plays around with you, much like a puppet.

I stumbled upon this little treat on Beatport and felt it deserved to be quickly highlighted on the site. We’ve previously covered another of Well Mixed Records’ releases, Eddie Sender feat. Marcie – Please Forgive.
This release, now about two months old, but still tasty and fresh, comes from Oceania and features remixes by Will B, Anguilla Project and Arctic Moon. The original is quite reminiscent of a Fred Baker track andis sure to find its way into many radio sets. On remix duties we’ve got Will B delivering a slightly darker version, Anguilla Project’s rendition is more progressive than not and Arctic Moon’s is epic, with emphasis on the synthy string melody.
