“
An example of all things good in Trance! ” - Andre
10/10
I don’t normally highlight single tracks, but this track from a 3 track EP, stood out so much that I had to give credit where credit is due. This track melts what I consider to be the best elements of Armin van Buuren, John Askew and John O’Callaghan’s sound to create a unique, driving and uplifting trance tune that is sure to raise the hair on your neck.
I’d love to say more, but I’ll let you all be the judge, for a high quality sample, hit up the read more link! If you’re looking for more info on Running Man I wish thee good luck. If you’ve got some dirt, hit us up in the comments, we’re dying to know more!
In their latest tribute, Vinyl Life remakes the Techno Classic “Energy Flash” by Brooklyn’s own Joey Beltram with new lyrics by Phaze Future. This was made from the ground-up with no samples. The band-made video, however, is all sampled clips that are jacked from youtube. Take a trip back in time with us to the warehouse days.

“Back To Basics” is about digging deep and searching for the one feeling or moment that inspired your love of music. Do you remember the smile you had on your face when you heard something fresh and new for the first time? Remove all the inhibitions and let loose the way you used to. For Satoshi Tomiie, “Back To Basics” is not about revisiting the past just to create something retro or ironic, but rather, he’s referencing key moments of his musical life to create for the future. No rules, no limits. See it. Hear it. Feel it.
Read on for the direct download link and be sure to support Satoshi by purchasing this release at Beatport.com.
Ben’s not known for his original productions, it’s his powerhouse remixes that have garnered him loads of attention over the past 3 years. This latest effort includes a lovely vocal track and a melody that isn’t unfamiliar to those madly in love with John O’Callaghan’s work….I know I am!
The track, uplifting to its core, carries loads of drive and energy throughout, and with a lovely open air melody in the breakdown, this track is sure to melt faces worldwide. There isn’t much more to report on this one, it seems all we have so far is a sneak peek, 1 track preview, and I would assume more versions of the track are forthcoming on Liquid.
Daniel’s been featured on our site a handful of times, and his sheer ability to make club friendly trance tunes is obvious to anybody’s who has the chance to listen to radio shows or livesets from some of the world’s top jocks over the past year. Straight from the horse’s mouth:
I made this track for the people who supported me this year. This year has been amazing and I achieved many things, like Trance Energy next year for example. I couldn’t do this without all the votes and support. That’s why I made “Daniel Wanrooy – Dream with me”, the title is because my dreams came true this year. I am giving this track away with Christmas on my new website, Myspace and Facebook. The track is already played by Armin van Buuren in ASOT and Markus Schulz in GDJB.
Head on over after the break for a direct download link to the entire track in it’s 320kbps glory! Merry Christmas to all!!!!

The boys behind the Be Yourself franchise land on High Contrast with a brand new track that is certainly destined to become a smash hit. Already with plenty of hits under their belt, Killer Tone has all the makings of a hit: a devastating bassline, a memorable hook a-la Jochen Miller and a bonafide club ready sound. Jack the tempo up a bit and you’ve got a deadly dancefloor weapon that cannot be defeated, not even by that strange level 54 Wizard waiting by the door…
I’ll leave it at that for this review, and be sure to hit up the high quality sample after the break, this track is so hot it can barely be contained on this website!

“
Emotional depth in a tech-trancer? Yes. ” - Andre
9/10
There isn’t much on this amazing release to date, what with a slated release date of 2010, things are far from finalized as far as the final release package is concerned. Regardless, what Setrise (Melle Bakker) and Kay Wilder have devised is an original production that is filled with emotional depth, club filth and euphoric elements that all mesh together to create something that I will certainly playlist and have on my iPod for years to come! Ron van den Beuken will be joining Melle on this package with some tasty remixes, well, I’m assuming that much.
There’s something to be said about the sheer quality this youngster is pumping out, and don’t be the last to hear his sound, hit up the read more link, I’ve included a massive high quality sample of the track for you to enjoy!
“
Old & New collide: What tech-trance should be! ” - Andre
10/10
Every once in a while a track comes along that is so hot, so uncontrollably infectious, so filthy and absolutely mind melting that I stop everything else I do, take the 6 minutes I need to enjoy it and just giv’r. This, my friends, is one of them. Randy was quite literally one my very first forays into what was then called, tech-trance. I make this distinction because today’s tech-trance is not usually tech-trance at all, but I digress…
Randy teams up with recent Spinnin’ powerhouse MEM (hot off an amazing release!) and together create a timeless piece of tech trance that is heavy, very heavy, on the tribal elements. I wonder if Abel Ramos is tucked away in here somewhere drumming away? This review includes merely the one track, though I’m sure there will be more to go along with it in the near future, but for now we’ll have to enjoy the 3 minute high quality sample I included after the jump! Go on, have a listen, once that bassline kicks in you won’t want to stop!
