TyDi is the new young trance sensation from Australia, while Dennis Shepard hails from Germany. Both of them are fairly new to the scene, but churning out some great records lately. TyDi has just released his debut album and Dennis Sheperd has released one of my favourite progressive tracks this year called ‘Black Sun’. They’ve collaborated for the first time and they are accompanied by the sweet voice of Marcie. Let’s take a look at what these two lads has to offer.
S107 recordings (sub-label of Armada) have grabbed this track, since this label is dedicated to vocal progressive trance. Package contains 3 tracks. Original is a sweet, laid-back progressive trance track, while on the remix duties we have Sebastian Brandt, who provides a remix and a dub.

Hiya All….!! I’m Shrey & I’m the new reviewer here (Big thanks to Andre) and this is my first review. Here we’ve latest release from Neuroscience recordings, which is making its mark on the trance scene very fast.
Here’s the unusual collaboration between the young trance producer Rozza and an indie-rock group called “I AM HOPE“. Both of them hail from London, UK. “I AM HOPE” consists of 4 members as listed on their myspace page. Rozza debuted on Neuroscience last year with “Never Never Land”. This is the second release on the same label and it looks worth checking out, as it’s mishmash of genres to say the least!
Read On for my detailed review of each track and some samples.

You Are Here is yet another tech infused trancer planted on a driving bass line with a haunting piano melody. This latest release on Mallorca’s MLXL imprint is taken straight from Mallorca’s soon to be released debut album “XL”.
Mallorca’s original mix is an absolute beast that simply rampages through 7 minutes of tech trance goodness. Remixes are provided by none other than the stalwart DJ Choose and two newcomers: Mecha L-Yen is a young french producer who caught Mallorca’s ear recently, and Liquid Vision is a Scottish producer who pumps out progressive trancer that closely resembles some Der Mystik’s work.

Along with Toes in the Sand Recordings, Swordtail Records is another of our favorite house labels producing cutting edge progressive, and this latest effort continues their string of successful releases.
Era is a deep and groovy little number that makes use of some exotic strings and a a vocal track that reminds me of Tiesto’s classic, Battleship Grey. The original is depicted in two different versions, a 1st Version and a 2nd Version. Adding an entirely different vibe to the track is Freza, with his Amphibian Remix.

Our favorite chilled out progressive/breaks house label returns with a sultry little number from California’s own Thee-O and LA’s DJ Huggie to create perhaps the grooviest Toes release to date. Toes in The Sand Recordings are one of the world’s most consistent labels, purveyors of releases by some of the world’s classiest producers.
Thee-O and Huggie team to deliver a deep and chuggy house track that is destined to be playlisted by many a DJ, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was licensed for countless compilation. Along for the ride are The Last Atlant and Python, both delivering their own style that are in stark contrast with the original.

In case you haven’t noticed already, we’re huge supporters of everything Recover World related, and although Conspiracy Recordings aren’t formally attached, their label heads have graced the covers of many a Discover release in the past.
A little more than three years from the labels inception, Conspiracy Recordings are proud to bring you Introspection, compiled and mixed by label head man, Jon O’Bir. The milestone comes after a string of successful releases by the likes of Tom Colontonio, Sunshade, Underwater, Peter Martijn Wijnea, Niklas Grosswald and label heads, Jon O’Bir and Activa; All of which are featured on this compilation.
This latest 2 Disc compilation landed on my desk and instantly I started to prepare for it. I’ve heard many people mention in passing that the biggest drawback to the ‘Discover’ sound is the ‘Discover’ sound, but it is my opinion that this sound exemplifies exactly what is great about trance nowadays. (A quick distinction: The Conspiracy Recordings sound not entirely the ‘Discover’ sound, but draws some very similar parallels.)
This compilation, which packs 30 tracks onto 2 full CDs, is a testament to a pure trance style that is often times hard to find.

The In Trance We Trust camp has garnered quite the reputation over the years for providing their fans with solid trance that would go down well in a bustling club, or on a sun drenched Ibizan beach. It’s this ability to constantly deliver the same style that makes them a powerhouse in the trance music scene.
This latest effort from Swedish star Carl B introduces a fresh name in Chris R. (any details, anyone?) and together they’ve created a track that will certainly instantly become a club anthem. Lush Pads, epic builds, and enough euphoria to raise the dead abound in this release. On the B Side we’ve got a stunning remix from ITWT homeboy Alex Kunnari.

Originally released last year on Enhanced Recordings, the “Awakening EP” proved to be a massive success. Not only had the EP gained support from the likes of Tiesto, Sean Tyas and Andy Moor, each track managed to land on a number of compilations including Sean Tyas’ Tytanium, Digitally Enhanced Vol 2 and Matt Hardwick & Kane Nelson’s Digital Society Vol 1.
The EP resurfaces on Red Force Recordings as a two-part release, the first of which features “Awakening” and its remixes, of which I reviewed here.
Shortly following part one, the second part of the “Awakening Remixes EP” is here. Part two features melodic hands-in-the-air remixes of all three tracks from Fast Distance, Sunny LAX and LavKastor, all of whom have been getting some well-deserved attention lately. I’ll be reviewing these, and I’ve included some high quality samples and a poll for you to vote for your fav! Read on…

Propulsion has quickly become one of my favorite ‘underground’ labels of late, and it’s no surprise that you find me reviewing their latest release. This latest effort from Slovenian producer Reaky, whom I covered recently on a Discover Dark release, is an absolute stormer, and I’ve just caught wind that Ferry Corsten shortlisted it on his latest radio show episode!
Alongside Reaky on this release are 2 remixers: Michal Poliak (who we’ve fallen in love with recently) & Peppelino. Rounding things out is a Rush Hour mix from Reaky himself, which undoubtedly promises to jack things up! Keep on reading for my take on these 4 tracks, some high quality samples and for your chance to vote for your fav!
