Garry Heaney , from legendary Glasgow trance night “Rehab” debuts on the Discover White Label. The track kicks off with a thumping bassline that certainly isn’t reminiscent of the typical Discover sound. A welcome change nonetheless! We’re in laser-land in no time flat and I’m loving the simple and effective melodies Garry’s introduced to date. That all changes once we flow into the breakdown, as he showcases an arpeggiated synth melody that rocks my socks. The breakdown builds quickly into a beast of epic proportions and without any indication we’re suddenly thrust into the filtered crash. This my friends, is what trance should be like. Pure. Simple. Epic. A peak time track that will certainly cause many a clubber to lose it on the floor. I’m already looking forward to Garry’s upcoming releases!
