As with Sergey Shemet, Temple One first crossed my path with Moonlight Madness…Of course I have heard of Temple One, but I haven’t really given him a shot, until now! This is String Theory, which should promise to be a quality bit of trance, and not strung out in the least! On remix duty is none other than Mark Sixma, under his M6 alias. He should inject a little drive, for sure! Read on.

I stumbled upon this release while browsing Beatport this past week, and I must say, being the huge lego fan that I am, I simply couldn’t pass up the chance to give it a listen. Nu-depth Recordings is a rather young label, born in 2007 as the brainchild of Danny Powers who felt there was yet ‘room for another quality trance outlet’. I’d say he’s held up his end of the bargain!
The lead off track provides a great alternative to the boring and often drawn out ‘intro’ versions found in the trance world. Keeping the listener interested and using a melody intro to usher in the track is a work of genius. Along with Daniel’s original mix are mixes from Perceptive Recordings’ Andy Blueman, Discover Dark’s Gary Maguire and another up and coming UK producer, Dave Horne.

Released exclusively on Audiojelly.com today, I’ve been anxiously awaiting this release for many, many weeks. For those of you tied to other download shops, you’ll have to wait till July 6th…..and if that isn’t enough, we’ve got some tasty samples after the break. To, you know, hold you over.
This is the 15th release on Andy Moor’s AVA Recordings label, and with a storied panel of artists, this latest proves that the man behind the name has still got it going on! The original is funky and quirky at times, but paired up with Meighan’s vocals, it all fits well and provides a homegeneous (I’ve wanted to use that word in a non-science context since grade 9 science) sound that’s rather pleasing. Along with the original are two remixes, one from Tenishia (hot off a collab with Markus Schulz) and Ben Gold.
As promised, details, samples and polls are after the break!

Ahh, Union Jack. This project is the compilation of the mac daddy of Platipus (Simon Berry), and Claudio Giussani (Better known as Terra Ferma). This project has come rumbling out of the past and melting into now, with the addition of Paul Brogden (aka Pob), and now here we are! Knowing Platipus, you should expect some quality acid trance…And knowing Union Jack, you should expect a bit of tribal acid goodness. I presume this shall be the case!

I hope this offends everyone...
Hailing from Toronto, Joe’s been at the forefront of the Toronto (let’s not forget London too!) House Music revival for years now, and his countless BlowMedia releases are a testament to just that! In 2007 he decided it was time to start crafting his sound on his own label, and Invasive Recordings was born.
This latest release pumps out a relentless techno groove that would cause mass hysteria in a darkened Toronto club at 4am on a monday morning….can anyone say Comfort Zone?
Read on past the break for a quick rundown of this hypnotic and driving techno track, a high quality sample and some key links to get you started with Macca’s sound!

I gear you too, baby.
It’s been awhile since we’ve plugged this up-and-coming Ukrainian label…Last we saw them they had a fantastic slice of techno for us! This time we get something from Russian producer Mechanica…Apparently in Russia, robot loves you! (Sorry about that xD) At any rate, Mechanica does have some stuff on the web, make sure you check it out! But first, check out this new EP. You’re getting the title track, and Illusion. Hop in!

I’ve been maintaining a loose grasp on the workings of the Finity label, but I do not believe we have covered them here as of yet…Likewise with a98, better known as Allende. I’m going to assume there’s some sort of chemistry-related meaning behind this alias, given that this EP definitely has some of that chemistry going on. Indium and SnO2 (tin oxide) are used to create a component of LCDs…You see these everywhere, of course, and chances are you are reading this review through an LCD! At any rate, dive in to see if you’ve got any chemistry with these two tracks!

Fun fact, this is the first review I’ve ever handwritten (Then of course I put it on the computer)! Random, but oh so true. Anyways:
Michael Angelo has found his way onto our little operation here, with an ecletic blend of lush vibes backed by in-your-face riffs. This is his first solo run I’ve heard; Disconnected (on Enhanced Progressive of course!) offers up the vocals of one Jenry R. We get the original, a remix by Myon and Shane 54, dubs for each one, and an edit of the M&S54 Remix. Ready? Go!

Sean’s literally burst onto the trance scene in recent months, with 4 full releases in the past 3 months. He’s been featured on Red Force Recordings, Vandit Digital (yes, PvD’s label!) and now é música. I’d say he might even be the new Sean Tyas, what with his new signature sound that’s sweeping the airwaves around the globe….let’s just hope he doesn’t saturate his sound too quickly.
This release, at first listen, didn’t stand out for me. After I gave it a second listen I finally began to truly feel the motive behind the tracks, and I was instantly hooked. The tracks are absolute stormers, even though they might seem rather generic, they certainly are not!
Read on past the break to get my full breakdown of this latest é música release, some high quality samples and for your chance to vote for your fav!

Yes, this is a review for two releases. Dare I say, I’m doubling your pleasure!
Why, just a couple of weeks ago, Leon Bolier’s newest mix compilation hit the shelves and internet for your listening pleasure. This 2 disc beauty was inspired by his debut in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and while at first glance many will shrug, in actuality this tracklist is chock full of unreleased(as of yet) and a bit of unknown talent. And so here are two samplers that are out now, containing some of that goodness. Sampler 1 showcases some progressive/tech house talent from Leon, Smartminds, Poze, and MuseArtic, and Sampler 2 shows off some more Leon, Marcus Schössow, and Storyteller (Remixing Chantola). You have seen many of these guys round these parts, so curb your curiosity and hop in!
