It’s been nearly a year since we covered a release dedicated to Daniel (but he’s all over our site), and this latest on Black Hole Recordings is a club monster. Black Hole’s been busy recruiting and honing the skills of some amazingly talented youngsters…Sagstad, van Riel, Topher Jones, and now Daniel.

Hailing from the flatlands of Dordrecht, Southern Holland, Daniel Wanrooy has been influencing the playlists of some of the world’s top DJs for over 6 years. Both as one half of highly-lauded duos Progression & Odyssee and as a standalone artist, his evocative, imaginative music has successfully cross-bred virtually every sub-genre of trance.

This release features two tracks, ‘Damage’, which pushes the envelope as far as progressive trance could ever go, and ‘City Nights’ which is a gritty trancer that features some head rocking acid and minimal elements! Read on to hear some high quality samples and to vote for your favorite!

Be sure to check this gem out if you’re in need of a deep and groovy, sensual progressive trancer that will simply obliterate a dancefloor.

Daniel Wanrooy – City Nights

This track picks up where the A-Side left off, creating a beefy and gritty trancer that’s full of acid and minimal elements.

My favorite of the two has to be City Nights…it’s dirt has me gliding along and I simply cannot wait to belt this beauty at the club!

Score: 8/10
